Birthday Books
In order to support our positive reading culture we would like to request a change of focus from sending in sweets to recognise and celebrate children’s birthdays. Instead we would like to invite parents to donate a book, selected by your child, to send into school on these occasions. School would insert a presentation certificate which will be dated and completed by the family.
These celebration books will be read and shared with all children and kept in a special place for children to revisit and discuss.
